Warriors coach Logarusic Zdrvako who has come under immense pressure has only one way out which is to Log out from ZIFA and Zimbabwe.
This comes amid reports of a crisis board meeting to take place on Sunday to determine the fate of the coach.
Loga who has been described as an ‘Opportunist and clown’ by diffrenty circles has only won a single match out of the 15 he has been in charge of the warriors.
The man is good at blaming others for his own failures, he is not responsible enough to accept where he has done wrong.
Questions have been raised on who is benefiting from Loga’s stay at the helm of the warriors.
According to some players who travelled to Malawi for his debut, Loga was so excited to see England based midfielder Marvellous Nakamba and Khama Billiat that he asked for selfies with the star players.
Loga also made a video call back to his family in Croatia bragging that he was in the company of Nakamba.
According to sources, Billiat snubbed the video call.
“When we travelled to Malawi he was so happy to see Nakamba and Billiat, he asked for pictures with them and later on he had a video call with his family back in Croatia bragging that he was in the company of Nakamba and Billiat,” revealed a source.
Some players started to question if he was a coach or a football fan who wanted to get closer to super stars.
Our source revealed that Dynamos head coach Tonderai Ndiraya, who is one of the assistants to Logarusic, was given a new role of capturing the Kodak moments, something he later snubbed.
D-Day for Loga
The ZIFA Board will meet today to evaluate the performance of the Warriors and sack Loga as Warriors coach.
ZIFA has been reluctant to sack Loga but have succumbed to pressure from the media and the fans.
“We are waiting for the team to arrive and hear from the head of delegation and also the technical report before we meet on Friday,” said an executive committee member.
“Obviously the coach Zdravko Logarusic is going to be sacked because of the growing pressure even though we believe he is not entirely to blame. There are a lot reasons for the poor performance of the team which cannot entirely be blamed on the coach alone.”
ZIFA Board member Sugar Chagonda who was the Zimbabwe head of delegation to Ethiopia has already written to ZIFA president advising him to fire Loga.
