Shrine of Terror: Hatfield Madzibaba Wanted for Sodomizing Two 12-Year-Old Boys

A 22-year-old self-styled Madzibaba Jalel Munondinzwei from Hatfield is on the run after being accused of sodomizing two 12-year-old boys at his shrine.

Alleged Acts of Sodomy

According to Harare provincial police spokesperson Inspector Luckmore Chakanza, Madzibaba Munondinzwei, a member of the Johanne Masowe yeMuchinjikwa sect, is wanted for questioning in connection with the alleged sodomization of his two aides at his shrine.

Appeal for Information and Police Report

Inspector Chakanza appealed for information leading to Madzibaba’s arrest. The incident unfolded on December 23, 2023, when Madzibaba Munondinzwei allegedly brought the two boys to his shrine. That night, he exposed them to a pornographic video and sodomized them in a tent at 3 am. The boys immediately reported the incidents to Madzibaba Munondinzwei’s assistant, their mother, and the police, leading to an official police report.

“On December 23, 2023, Madzibaba was reported to have taken two boys aged 12 to his shrine,” stated Inspector. “Madzibaba showed the two minors a pornographic video at the shrine during the night. At around 3am, Madzibaba was reported to have sodomised one of the boys and later the other one in a tent. The two boys reported the matter to Madzibaba’s assistant and their mother and a police report was lodged.”

Escape and Arrest

Munondinzwei moved to Marondera for prayers, but a vigilant resident’s tip led to his arrest. Fortunately for Madzibaba Munondinzwei, he escaped when officers briefly parked to relieve themselves.
