Leeroy Mavunga and Never Tigere scored a brace each as Zimbabwe began their 2020 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifying campaign with a convincing 4-0 first leg win over Mauritius at Auguste Volaire Stadium in Flacq on Monday morning.
Rahman Gumbo was interim head coach and Lloyd Mutasa was assistant, following the stepping down of Sunday Chidzambga on July 24.
The two sides will cross swords again in the second leg scheduled for Barbourfields Stadium on August 4.
