OXLINK Capital CEO, Muchemwa Faced Charges Over Threatening to Shoot His Wife
Brains Muchemwa, CEO of OXLINK Capital, faced charges over allegations of threatening to shoot his wife after accusing her of bewitching him.
Free Bail Granted, Next Court Date Set

Muchemwa, 44, was granted free bail by Harare magistrate Ruth Moyo on Saturday and is scheduled to appear again in court on November 7.
Accusations and Assault
According to court documents, Blessing, Brain’s wife missed a call from her husband, while on her way to pick up their kids from school. After seeing her husband’s missed call, she attempted to return the call but due to poor network she couldn’t reach him.

Later that day, Muchemwa arrived around 10pm and accused his wife of using juju to hurt him. He allegedly threatened to kill her wife and record their fight and share it on social media.
Apologies Rebuffed, Assault Erupts
After the fight, Blessing apologized to her husband and explained herself that she is not using any witchcraft against him. Brains became further infuriated and punched her four times on the shoulder.

OXLINK Capital, CEO then ceased the physical assault and her wife. “You see that I can hit you and will not stop because you need to be delivered from the demon that you have,” stated Muchemwa.
Threats of Violence Escalate
Muchemwa proceeded to threaten her wife, asserting that he would shoot her and later commit suicide after the murder. Following the incident, Blessings reported the matter to Highlands Police Station, where she was directed to undergo a medical examination at a hospital.
