Gweru Husband Arrested for Shooting Second Wife and Murdering Her Boyfriend
A 40-year-old husband from Gweru, Peter Dube, has been arrested for shooting his second wife and murdering her alleged boyfriend.
The Violent Confrontation
According to reports, the incident unfolded on April 22nd at Bensam Flats along Main Street in Gweru. Dube, driven by suspicions of his wife’s alleged infidelity, confronted her boyfriend, Shelton Chiduku. An altercation then ensued that resulted in Dube shooting Chiduku in the presence of his alleged girlfriend, Gamuchirai Mudungwe. Tragically, Dube did not stop there, as he proceeded to shoot Mudungwe, causing her instant death.

Dube’s Violent Rampage Continues
Dube did not stop there, as he proceeded to the upstairs where he met his second wife Nyasha Nharingo. He confronted her about the rumor before an altercation erupted. He then shot her on her right cheek. Unfortunately, the bullet protruded to the left side of her shoulder and removed a molar tooth and landed on her upper side of her shoulder.

Further Violent Rampage Escalates
In a further display of rage, Dube also shot his sister-in-law, who was present during the horrific incident. He shot her on the left ear, and the bullet protruded through and punctured her left eye.
Neighbors Rush to the Rescue
Following the violent outburst, Dube immediately fled the scene, leaving his injured victims in need of urgent medical attention. Fortunately, the neighbors stepped in to provide aid, helping Nharingo and Dube’s sister-in-law to the Gweru General Hospital, where they received treatment and were later discharged.

Police Apprehend the Suspect
The police were swiftly alerted, and Dube was subsequently arrested for his involvement in the shooting. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are working to uncover the full extent of the incident and the circumstances that led to this tragic turn of events.
