The late former president Robert Mugabe’s grave is located in a courtyard at his homestead in Zvimba, the Zim Morning Post can reveal.
There are two main houses with an enclosed courtyard whose entrance can only be via either Sally or Mugabe’ mother, Bona’s houses.
The courtyard used to have a fishpond and a flower garden.
“The pond has been destroyed to pave way for Mugabe’s grave,” said one family member.
The grave is not visible unless one is inside either of the houses.
“It is an enclosure and noone can have access to the grave unless they come through the houses.”
When the Zim Morning Post crew got access into the homestead welders were busy securing all entrances into Bona Mugabe’s house with buglar bars.
