HARARE – Participate with Apostle Joy Museba, a renowned man of God from Kwekwe, Zimbabwe, as he leads sessions to ‘equip the saints for the work of the ministry’ at the Believer’s Ministry Class, held every Monday evening at the Zimbabwe College of Music in Harare. Since the 3rd of June 2024, these lessons have proven to be full of profound revelations. The founder of New Creation Life Ministries International (NCL), Apostle Joy possesses a deep understanding of God’s Word, exploring the attributes of God while learning how to tap into His divine power. Apostle Joy, as he is affectionately known, reminded participants on the evening of the 2nd of December, 2024 at the Believer’s Ministry Class session that; “God is a complete database of the past, present, and future.” He confidently stated, “With factors working for us more than against us, we can say that God is on our side.”
Building on the previous week’s powerful revelation, Apostle Joy emphasized that “the delivered cannot be delivered in ignorance” and that deliverance is limited by the knowledge of the deliverer. This pivotal teaching set the stage for the ongoing exploration of God’s divine power and how we connect with it.
Apostle Joy guided participants through an in-depth examination of God’s attributes, particularly focusing on His ‘omnipotence’ and ‘omniscience.’ He delved into the Scriptures, revealing how to activate ‘the power within us’ to cast out demons and set others free. He highlighted two of God’s most significant attributes: His ‘omnipotence’ and ‘omniscience’.
God’s ‘omniscience’ means that ‘He has complete knowledge of all things, past, present, and future’. The NCL founder explained how Moses wrote in Genesis 1 verse 1 (KJV) that: “In the beginning…” – not “at” the beginning. Why he – Moses – wrote like this, is because God lives outside of time; in eternity, and knows all things at all times. Deliverance is not just about casting out demons; it requires knowledge. What good is it to cast out demons if we don’t have the knowledge to keep them from returning?
When we connect to God, we connect to the ultimate ‘database of knowledge’. Apostle Joy ‘echoed’ these words for clarity, “If you are connected to God, you are connected to a database.” This connection allows us to communicate swiftly and set others free. The significance of human beings in the spiritual realm does not depend solely on physical strength or abilities. It stems from our connection to God and our willingness to utilize the gifts ‘He’ has given to people. TO US!
A key revelation shared was; “Demons will lie to you, as long as they know you do not have access to the truth.” This is a crucial truth: demons will lie to you as long as they know you don’t have access to the truth. However, on the contrary, when one has the truth, they carry it with them. Enabling them to repel darkness. Spiritual gifts are not granted to believers merely because they can fast and pray: they are given based on one’s desire for them, as articulated in Scripture. A relevant passage for reference is 1st Corinthians 14 verse 1 (KJV), which reads, “Follow the way of love and eagerly desire spiritual gifts, especially the gift of prophecy.” Nevertheless, prayer and fasting enhance our ability to effectively use these gifts.
Those who eagerly anticipate greatness should join Apostle Joy in exploring God’s attributes and learning how to access His divine power. He helps individuals activate the power within them to cast out demons and bring freedom to others. Apostle Joy encourages the practice of spiritual gifts and the desire for more of God’s presence in our lives. As stated in Hebrews 5 verse 14 (MSB), “solid food is for the mature, who have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.” In other words, spiritual maturity is not just about seeking God’s power but also about developing the discernment to distinguish good from evil.
Apostle Joy stressed that spiritual growth and empowerment involve not only seeking God’s power but also understanding our true identity as spirits living in bodies. What happens when we understand our true identity? What doors of spiritual growth and empowerment are opened to us? Just as Elisha requested a double portion of Elijah’s spirit, our desire for spiritual gifts and empowerment propels us forward. He reiterated that gifts are not earned solely through fasting and prayer but arise from our desire for them. However, prayer and fasting can enhance our effectiveness in using these gifts. The key to proficiency in our gifts is consistent practice; much like a borehole that produces water only when used regularly. As we mature in our faith, we develop the ability to discern good and evil, as promised in Hebrews 5 verse 14 (MSB); which states, “solid food is for the mature, who have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.” Apostle Joy encourages participants to tap into ‘top-shelf revelations’ daily, rather than reserving them for special occasions. By doing so, they can experience a consistent flow of spiritual growth and empowerment, just like a well that yields fresh water every time it’s used. Every day should be a top-shelf revelation day!
