Filabusi Man Sentenced to 16 Years in Prison for Molesting Elderly Blind Woman

A Filabusi man has been convicted and sentenced to a staggering 16 years in prison for molesting an elderly, blind woman in her own home.

Unspeakable Violation in the Dead of Night

The court heard that the incident occurred on March 28th, 2024, around 8 PM. The elderly woman, who lives alone, had retired to bed for the night when she heard the ominous sound of her door creaking open. She asked who was there, but got no answer. She was then horrified as the man simply jumped onto her bed and squeezed her neck.

A Heinous Escape

The heartless man then proceeded to molest the vulnerable woman multiple times before fleeing the scene. The woman then screamed and shouted for help, and her nearby nephew came to her aid.

Hasty Arrest by Neighborhood Committee

Her nephew quickly alerted the neighborhood. The neighborhood watch then traced the footprints that led them to the accused man’s house. They recovered the shoes he was wearing, which matched the set of footprints, leading to his arrest.

The Sentencing

The 32-year-old suspect was promptly arrested and brought to justice, with the court ultimately sentencing him to 16 years behind bars for his heinous crimes.

“The accused person was sentenced to 16 years imprisonment,” the NPAZ press release confirmed

Father Convicted of Heinous Molestation

In another story, a 30-year-old man was convicted and sentenced for molesting his own 8-year-old daughter. He appeared before Rusape Magistrate Courts facing rape charges.

The court heard that the incident occurred on April 21st, 2024, in the man’s bedroom. The incident came to light when the daughter went to her grandmother’s home in Honde Valley and revealed the molestation.
