Chiredzi Man Sentenced to 15 Years for Molesting Friend’s 14-Year-Old Daughter
A Chiredzi man has been arrested and convicted for molesting his friend’s 14-year-old daughter in his own house.
Sickening Betrayal
According to reports, the incident occurred on April 24th, 2024, around 7 PM. On the day of the crime, the girl was sent by her mother to the man’s house. Upon arriving at the house, the man dragged the girl into his bedroom and locked the door. The girl then started crying, and the man covered her mouth to stop her from screaming

Sickening Act of Violation
The man then proceeded to remove the girl’s clothes and molest her. After molesting his friend’s daughter, he ordered her to leave and threatened to kill her if she revealed what had happened to anyone.

Traumatized Victim Speaks Out
The girl, traumatized by the ordeal, initially did not tell anyone what had happened. Troubled with the pain, the girl revealed the incident to her neighbor, the following day, which led to her father friend’s arrest.

Harsh Sentence for Heinous Crime
The accused, a 29-year-old man from Rutenga, appeared before the Chiredzi Magistrate’s Courts facing rape charges. “The accused person was convicted and sentenced to 15 years imprisonment,” read the NPAZ press statement.

Gwanda Man Jailed for 20 Years
In another story, a 36-year-old man from Gwanda was sentenced to 20 years in prison for molesting his own daughter. The court heard that sometime in February, the man took advantage of his wife’s absence and ordered his daughter to sleep in his bedroom. During the middle of the night, the man removed his daughter’s clothes and molested her.
