All shall be well for Zimbabwe: Togarepi

ZANU PF and government Chief Whip Pupurai Togarepi has called on Zimbabweans to be patient as everything is going to be well for the country.

In his assessment of the year 2019 in retrospect, Togarepi said  the administration led by President Emmerson Mnangagwa was working round the clock for the betterment of Zimbabweans.

“As we end this year let us all reflect on what we have achieved as a country and where we can improve as country, we truly need each other as country,” said Togarepi

Speaking to Zim Morning Post this week, Togarepi said that unity is the backbone of any nation and it is high time Zimbabweans unite for the better future and support President Emmerson Mnangagwa.

“We should unite as a country for the betterment of our country, violent protests will not yield anything but will destroy our country, unity is the spinal chord of any country, let us be united as a country,” said Togarepi.

Togarepi has called Zimbabweans to unite and fight corruption and sanctions , he argued that sanctions which were imposed on Harare by the Western Countries and United States of America were a bigger hindrance to the development of Zimbabwe.

“Sanctions are evil, they have killed our economy and we call upon US and her allies to remove them unconditionally,” said Togarepi.

Zimbabwe was slapped with sanctions after the redistribution of land in the early 2000.

The Secretary of Youth in Zanu PF has also called young people to desist from corrupt activities as the Mnangagwa administration will not tolerate that.

“Young people should thrive to work hard and not to engage in corrupt activities, the new dispensation will not tolerate any corrupt activities as the new dispensation will not hesitate to lock all corrupt elements in jail, we call upon young people and anyone to resist corruption.
