Zanu PF says aspiring candidates to undergo lessons at Chitepo school of Ideology

MUTARE – Zanu PF members in Manicaland seeking for District Co-ordinating Committee positions have to undergo party ideology training, the party has said.

The resolution was made during the Provincial Co-ordinating Committee (PCC) meeting held recently.

In an interview on the sidelines of the meeting, Zanu PF provincial secretary for administration  Kenneth Saruchera said all party leaders would attend a special Chitepo School of Ideology session.

“This is to ensure that they have the correct perspective of contemporary issues and remain focused on party ideology in their day-to-day party activities,” he said.

After this session, they will then embark on cell and branch restructuring as per the constitution. DCC elections will then follow after this. For now, people should not rush into campaigning for the posts. They should wait for instructions,” Saruchera said.
