Woes mount for Ex-model Priscilla Chigariro

WOES continue to mount for PRISCILLA Chigariro who has been dragged to the civil court by Hopcik Investments (Pvt.) Ltd, a company, which is seeking a peace order against the former model, Zim Morning Post has learnt.

The urgent order was heard Monday morning, with the ruling expected on December 12.

Chigariro is said to have forced entry into a house, which she and her ex-boyfriend, a Russian National, Аllen Gеssen, were renting from Hopcik.

The house is said to be located in the upmarket suburb of Ballentyne Park, Harare.

The respondent claims she has the authority to stay in the house on the basis that she was the director of Hopcik Investments, a position from which she was resigned on allegations of self-dealing, according to other sources.

Sources who spoke to Zim Morning Post allege Chigariro has been trying to take over other properties in Zimbabwe connected to her ex-boyfriend.

Gessen is believed to have moved back to Russia due to Chigariro’s abusive actions.

Although the plaintiff is said to be using her position as director of Hopcik Investments to claim occupation to the house, it is understood that she no longer occupies such a position.

She has desperately been trying to show herself as a victim of a conspiracy but in a hearing, it was discovered that the facts simply don’t match her rhetoric.

We also understand that there are other complaints pending against Chigariro, that she has illegally enriched herself and her family using the position of trust while a director in a foreign-owned company,” said the source.

Chigariro, who is painting herself as a victim of abuse and judicial corruption was represented at the hearing by the Tendai Biti Law.
