Brito’s Hyped Home Debut Shattered as Warriors Match vs Botswana Gets Cancelled
Football fans eagerly awaiting Brazillian Brito’s home debut will have to wait a little longer. ZIFA has announced that the Warriors match vs Botswana has been cancelled.
ZIFA has announced the cancellation of the upcoming match between the Warriors and Botswana’s Zebras, which was scheduled for this Saturday.

In a press release, ZIFA informed all football stakeholders of the unfortunate cancellation of the planned international friendly match against Botswana. ZIFA expressed their apologies for the inconveniences caused by this unexpected turn of events.

Training Camp Continues

Despite the cancellation, ZIFA emphasized that the training camp for the national team will proceed as scheduled. This will provide Brito and his technical team with valuable time to prepare for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers.

Notable Absences from the Squad
ZIFA has released a list of 24 players who will participate in the training camp. However, several notable names from Europe and America are missing from the squad. Marvelous Nakamba, who has been delivering exceptional performances for Luton in the Premier League, is absent. Additionally, Teenage Hadebe and Tatenda Mukuruva, currently playing in America, are also not included in the list.
