Sadc observer mission faces another acid test in Namibia

ZIMBABWE is once again under spotlight as it takes charge of the Southern Africa Development Committee (Sadc) Election Observer Mission in Namibia ahead of that country’s general elections scheduled for Wednesday.

The Sadc mission will be under Zimbabwe Defence minister Oppah Muchinguri’s leadership.

Though this will be the second time Namibia will be using the electronic voting system, the country’s opposition political parties have accused the ruling party of tampering with the machines and want the system removed.
