Norton Chief Superintendent Dethroned for Adulterous Affair With a Married Junior Officer
Chief Superintendent Reason Ncube has been dethroned as Officer Commanding Norton District after engaging in an adulterous affair with a married junior officer Constable Ethel Kusangaya.
Tracking System Exposes the Affair
The illicit relationship between Chief Supt Ncube and Cst Kusangaya came to light when Ethel’s husband, Stalin Muvengwa, installed a car tracking system on their family vehicle.

Unbeknownst to the lovebirds, Ethel, dressed in her police uniform, drove the family car to Norton, deceitfully claiming she was headed elsewhere.
Desperate Measures Taken to Evade Husband, Confrontation and Pleas
Chief Supt Ncube told Ethel to park her vehicle. They embarked on a romantic drive in his car, unaware that Ethel’s husband was following them.
Upon realizing they were being followed, Chief Supt Ncube arranged for Ethel’s car to be towed to a car park in Kuwadzana Extension. However, their efforts were in vain as Ethel’s husband confronted them.
Plea for Forgiveness & to Spare Public Humiliation
In a desperate attempt to prevent her husband from assaulting her, Ethel pleaded with him to spare her the humiliation.
Sources close to the incident revealed that Chief Supt Ncube, feeling the weight of his actions, sweated profusely while pleading with Muvengwa for forgiveness.

The Aftermath of Betrayal
Muvengwa expressed his deep anguish, questioning whether Chief Supt Ncube’s promotion.
“Does it mean that his promotion was to abuse junior officers?,” stated Muvengwa. “Ncube has damaged my family, my children and my standing in society.”
Rebuilding Trust and Healing Wounds
Muvengwa’s family is in ruins. He and his wife are seeking counseling to repair their relationship and support their children. They also aim to reconcile with their extended family.
Silence from the Guilty Parties
Both Chief Supt Ncube and Cst Kusangaya have chosen not to comment on the matter, leaving their actions to speak for themselves.
