Late Snooker Game Nightmare: Husband Attacked by Angry Wife Over Late Return from Pool Game
A 27-year-old wife, Patience Nkiwane, from the Mzilikazi suburb in Bulawayo, left her husband nursing a head injury after she allegedly attacked him for arriving home late from a snooker game.
Accusations and Physical Abuse
Nkiwane appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Maxwell Ncube, where she faced charges of physical abuse. She pleaded not guilty and was granted bail of US$50, with the case adjourned until February 19.

Late Night Altercation

According to the allegations, on February 3, 2024, around 11 PM, Nkiwane confronted Muarangandi as he returned from a snooker game. The situation quickly escalated as Nkiwane resoundingly slapped her husband.

Intensifying Violence
Instead of resolving the matter through dialogue, Nkiwane’s anger seemed to grow, leading to a series of whip-like slaps targeting Muarangandi. The altercation escalated further when Nkiwane pushed him to the ground and proceeded to straddle him.

A Brutal Attack
Nkiwane grabbed a stone and repeatedly struck her husband on the head. The assault caused cuts and injuries, prompting Muarangandi to seek medical attention at Mpilo Central Hospital.

Legal Consequences & Ongoing Legal Proceedings
The matter was reported to the police, leading to Nkiwane’s subsequent arrest. A medical examination at the hospital produced a report that served as evidence in court.
