Holy Ten Accuses Uebert Angel of Soliciting Women Using Church Offerings

HARARE — Zimbabwean musician Holy Ten has accused self-proclaimed prophet Uebert Angel of soliciting women from him, alleging that the prominent religious leader blocked his number after he appeared to fail to arrange for him the type of women he wanted.

Holy Ten, whose real name is Mukudzeyi Chitsama, said it was a source of deep embarrassment that Angel, given his supposed holy standing, would make such requests.

He claimed that a man who presents himself as a “man of God” and prays for multitudes is allegedly using offering money to buy cars for his side chicks.

Holy Ten made the allegations during on The Sport-light interview with Ollah 7, stating that he has a series of messages with Angel as proof. He claimed that the prophet repeatedly begged him for women, saying, “Dzaindikumbira ma babe. Ini Holy Ten. I used to send him pictures of women, achiti maya, akandi blocker, Uebert Angel. Uebert Angel akandikumbira mababe, ndikamusendera mapicture, ini ndisingambozvide, ndichimutumira mapicture achiti iyi haisi type yangu iyi.”

The musician further explained that he delayed speaking out because he feared damaging the Christian community. “The only reason I have delayed this was because I feared being a dent to the Christian community. This is a guy who claims to be a major general in the Christian community, asi ndomombwe in the Christian community. Mababe ake ma friends angu, andikwanisa kumataura, vamwe vacho vakaroorwa,” he said.

Holy Ten also claimed that Angel’s actions have shaken his faith, stating, “Akanditadzira pakundiratidza kuti Mwari wandinonamata, haamuremekedzi. The passion that I have for Christ, I was taught how to pray by Uebert Angel.” He added, “Ndakamupa mababe,” emphasizing that he has evidence to back his claims.

In another startling claim, Holy Ten alleged that he once visited Angel’s church and saw the prophet brandishing guns with musician Mudiwa.

“I went to their church where I performed. Mudiwa was showing me guns. From there, I began to doubt their faith,” he said.

“Not only guns, but Mudiwa then opened his bag and showed me condoms. I swear, and I’m ready to be taken to court for this, I swear that I will never return to their church again. You can ask my crew. Those people are spinning a yarn,” he said.

These allegations have sparked widespread debate, with many calling for accountability within the religious community. Uebert Angel, a controversial figure known for his flamboyant lifestyle and claims of divine wealth, has yet to respond to the accusations.

Holy Ten, however, insists that his intention is not to tarnish the Christian faith but to expose what he describes as hypocrisy. “I have proof,” he reiterated, urging the public to hold religious leaders accountable for their actions.
