HARARE — Zimbabwe expects to receive US$350 million in development partner support in 2026, a 30% decline from the US$500 million projected for 2025, according to Finance Minister Mthuli Ncube’s Mid-Term Budget and Economic Review.
The Treasury said that by the end of the first half of the year, the country had received about US$144.4 million in development partner funding.
The decline comes as Zimbabwe continues efforts to clear its debt arrears and re-engage international financial institutions under an IMF Staff Monitored Programme.
“The country is expected to receive US$350 million in 2026, representing a 30% reduction from the US$500 million projected for 2025. So far, during the first half of 2026, the country has received about US$144.4 million.”
