UNITED STATES-based business and leadership consultant Rutendo Mudzamiri is hosting a business summit in 2020 which is meant to support and celebrate local successful women-leaders.
Dubbed Bossbabe, the summit which is inspired by the Forbes under 30 is set to attract some of the most influential women from all sectors who have managed to make a difference in their respective fields.
Speaking to Zim Morning Post, Mudzamiri said the summit would be the first of its kind in Zimbabwe.
“We will attract 400 women leaders who have done phenomenal work in their sectors and are making a difference in uplifting other people and not only women in their communities,” Mudzamiri said.
The summit will be held from March 11 to 12.
Mudzamiri said they had two top women speakers who will grace the two day summit, making it the place to be for any woman in and around Zimbabwe.
“We have two confirmed International guests who will be talking about their experiences in their line of work.We have Nancy Speidel and Ivy McGregor, both who are renowned business leaders based in the United States,“Mudzamiri said.
Speidel is the co-founder and executive director of the international Smart Advancing Women (iSAW), a professional organisation which focuses on learning and leading.
She has 27 years experience in information technology at Intel and BP.
Ivy McGregor is the CEO and Chief Architect of IVY inc, which manages Beyonce Knowels’ charity programmes.
She is also renowned for supporting global programmes, targeting health disparities in Tanzania, Bangladesh, India and the United States.
Mudzamiri said the 2020 Boss Babe Summit will offer transformative sessions that propel women’s wholeness in areas such as business, health, mind, spirit, and physique.
She said the summit would also offer a unique experience that would leave women refreshed mentally, more connected and committed to working on personal wholeness that would go a long way in positive leadership and confidence.
