ZIMBABWE national team cricket players have made notable gains on the MRF Tyres ICC Test Player Rankings after a competitive performance against Sri Lanka.
The southern African side bounced back to dominate the second Test match throughout after losing the first.
Zimbabwe’s off-spinning all-rounder Sikandar Raza was among the players who advanced on the MRF Tyres ICC Test Player Rankings released February 1.
His eight wickets, which included a seven-wicket haul in the first innings, have lifted him 21 places to 51st among bowlers.
Knocks of 72 and 34 saw him progress to 57th among batsmen.
Brendan Taylor has moved up to 22nd and Sean Williams to 61st.
