Mashonaland West Proportional Representation Member of Parliament Josephine Shava collapsed in Parliament while attending to parliament business on Wednesday afternoon, the Zim Morning Post has learnt.
This publication understands that she was rushed to hospital and is said to be in a stable condition.
In an interview with this publication, Clerk of Parliament Kennedy Chokuda confirmed the development and said Shava had health complications.
“She was attending parliament business and fell sick, we had to rush her to hospital,” he said.
Shava was nominated by Zanu-PF as its Mashonaland West Proportional Representation Member of Parliament to fill the vacancy created by the death of Joan Tsogorani .
