Masvingo- MDC Alliance leader Nelson Chamisa has been nominated here for the 9th time uncontested.
Two provinces, Harare and Bulawayo remain and Chamisa ispoised for a clean sweep nominations.
Vice President Elias Mudzuri has been nominated to contest for the vice president post at the national congress.
Mudzuri was nominated second vice president after garnering 128 votes from Morgan Komichi’s 153 votes.
Welshman Ncube was nominated third vice president with 113 votes.
Also nominated was Tendai Biti who got 0 votes and Murisi Zwizwai who got 11 votes.
James Gumbi retained the Masvingo provincial chairperson post after garnering 1040 against his rival Simon Mupindu’s 966.
The Gumbi slate won all the provincial executive slots.
There has been allegations of ballot box stuffing against the Gumbi team.
Mupindu was thrown into the ring last minute after Tongai Matutu was disqualified on a technicality.
