High Court throws out Mandiwanzira’s application for daughter’s expulsion reversal

A High Court judge ruled that former cabinet minister Supa Mandiwanzira’s daughter Yamikani be expelled from boarding lodgings at Chisipite Senior School after the school had made the same decision following allegations that she had  left the boarding facility without permission.

The former ICT minister had approached the High Court seeking an order to nullify the decision that was arrived at by the school and its headmistress, one Mrs L. Hill and the application was dismissed with costs.

Mandiwanzira’s daughter, Yamikani, was expelled from a boarding facility at Chisipite Senior School and he had approached the High Court through an urgent chamber application.

Mandiwanzira said the school authorities sent his daughter packing without conducting a hearing to determine his daughter’s guilt.
