RISING gospel musician Rose Mambo, has this week enlisted the services of former Africa Revenge singer Taz (real name Mehluli Moyo) on a sizzling video with great potential to shake the market.
Titled Umanqoba, the video was directed by revered music video producer Blaqs who is famed for producing the bulk of Jah Prayzah’s videos.
The video was shot on location in Mbare Matapi area and the visuals were well choreographed with involvement of children from the community.
The video has been received well on You Tube and attained positive reviews from viewers.
Rose is not a newcomer in the cut- throat music industry, she cut her teeth in 2003, when she released her first album titled Kufamba na Jesu which was produced by Misheck Mahendere and Jabulani Ndhlovu.
In the same project, she worked with talismanic keyboardist Jonathan Mugazi.
Rose was to make a follow up album titled Mazuva, where she featured the late Sam Mtukudzi on the title track .
In an interview with Zim Morning Post Wednesday, Rose said she is optimistic, that the video will perform well on the gospel music market and win souls.

“I use music to spread the word of God ,as depicted in the song Umanqoba, I was saying through God I am a winner and everyone must take heed of that message,” she said.
Rose’s discography boasts of several decorated collaborations, where she has worked with Shingisai Suluma, Patience Musa, Mathius Mhere and top producer DJ Tamuka among others.
Apart from music, she has a colourful academic profile, she holds a degree in Politics and Administration, a Masters degree in Public Administration, also a Masters Degree in Business Administration.
She is currently pursuing a PhD in Peace, Leadership and Governance.
