PHILANTHROPIST, businessman and clergyman Prophet O continues to make headlines after surprising congregants from his Masvingo based New Creation Embassy Church by giving them funds to start businesses during a church service in January.
During the course of the service, Prophet O asked young people about their aspirations.
The start-up funds were in United States dollars and Rand.
He reiterated in the service that the church is not a place of spiritual solutions only but a place of uplifting and upgrading people physically, displaying love and sharing what they have!
“The Church is not a place of spiritual solutions only but for emotional, financial we should uplift each other as congregants,” he said.
Some congregants praised the pastor for helping the vulnerable.
“The young Prophet has proved to be selfless though some people have said he is flamboyant, he has continued to give to the poor especially to vulnerable girls and young women and plays a strong role in philanthropy in Masvingo,“ said Melisa Zhou
This is not the first time he has done this and according to sources, it’s actually a common gesture that he shows every time and doesn’t make it public. This includes assisting with medical bills for special medical conditions, paying school fees for orphaned and vulnerable children.
According to Pastor O, he has dedicated his life to give and learns from his mentor Prophet Eubert Angel who has been making headlines for paying congregants bills.
He said he did this as a sign of love and encouraged congregants to love one another. He also said he did this to show that he will always be there for his congregants and those in need.
“ I have dedicated my life to help the needy, something I have learnt from my spiritual father Eubert Angel,” he said.
