HARARE – Former Dynamos player and elder brother to Issa Sadiki, Takunda Sadiki was impressed with the performance of his young brother against Caps United over the weekend.

Dynamos walked away with a historic three nil victory, with Sadiki who dazzled on the wing, scoring the opener and leaving Caps United wondering what hit them.

Takunda affectionately known as ‘Madhedho’ because of his nimble foot told this publication from his base in Botswana that Issa’s performance was a tip of the iceberg.

“What happened on Sunday is too little, the guy will give you more. After the match I texted him and told him ‘well done.’ He was surprised that I said well done (only). He expected me to shower him with more praise,” said Takunda.

Takunda believes his young brother still needs to work on his body and muscle stamina.

“God gave him skill and he needs to work on his body and muscles, he is still young and he will definitely go far.”

Takunda also showered praise on their elder brother Ali Sadiki who used to play for FC Platinum.

“Ali set the bar for us, he captained Kuwangira Primary School and Highfield Select and I followed the same path. Issa also captained Kuwangira and played a huge part in Highfield Select.

“Ali did well at FC Platinum in the Premier league. I also featured for Dynamos FC and now it is now Issa’s time to lift the family name in the Premier league,” added Takunda

Issa scored the opening goal in the 3-0 win against his former team Caps United.

Issa once played for Caps United before joining YADAH FC where he earned the nickname ‘Chidhedhe’.
