In a shocking incident that unfolded in Muchokowere Village, Middle Sabi, jealous man, Tapiwa Allen Mutoriti(36) stones wife’s ex-husband to death and is now evading the authorities.

Unraveling the Tragic Sequence of Events

On July 29, Wiseman Madhoyo (36) visited his ex-wife, Sarudzai Sithole and her husband, at their residence, seeking to spend time with their children. Madhoyo requested to see his children. Sithole called their three children to join them. Madhoyo took the children to a tuckshop and left his ex-wife and Mutoriti at home. After some time, Madhoyo returned with the children and accused Sithole of spreading falsehoods that he was not taking care of his children. A dispute erupted between Sithole and Madhoyo, escalating tensions between the former spouses.

Fatal Encounter

As the argument intensified, Madhoyo redirected his anger towards Mutoriti, engaging in a heated confrontation. During the altercation, Mutoriti gained the upper hand, prompting Madhoyo to flee from the scene. Undeterred, Mutoriti pursued Madhoyo but failed to catch up. In a moment of rage, Mutoriti grabbed a stone and hurled it at Madhoyo, striking him on the head. The impact proved fatal, causing Madhoyo to collapse instantly. Mutoriti swiftly disappeared from the scene, evading capture.

Police Confirm Tragic Event

Inspector Nobert Muzondo, the Manicaland provincial police spokesperson, has officially confirmed the incident.

“I can confirm that on July 29, the now late Wiseman Madhoyo (36) of Manzvire Village under Chief Mutema visited his ex-wife, Sarudzai Sithole at her homestead in Munyokwere Village,” said Inspector.

Inspector Muzondo urgently appealed to the public to provide any information that could lead to the arrest of the fugitive Tapiwa Allen Mutoriti. Individuals with relevant details are urged to contact their nearest police station, reported Manicapost.
