The prosecution, in an ongoing court case of the former Tourism minister, Walter Mzembi, has notified the court that it wants him to be extradited to face trial. Mzembi is on an outstanding warrant of arrest. He is facing $1.6 million theft of trust property charges. In January, his lawyer Job Sikhala claimed that Mzembi was critically ill in South Africa and unfit to stand trial.
