Two of the six member gang who masqueraded as police officers and robbed a boutique in the capital appeared in court on Thursday.
Nelson Ngwarati and Webster Msarurwa, appeared before magistrate Rumbidzai Mugwagwa.
Their accomplices Givemore Nyarugwe and Tendai Magauze are in police custody while the other two who are still at large.
The suspects are alleged to have connived to rob a boutique at Montagu shopping centre on April 20 and were arrested nine days later.
According to the State, Nelson Ngwarati and his other five accomplices went to the boutique dressed in police and army uniforms and scared two security guards threatening to shoot them with rifles if they do not vacate the premise they were manning.
The court heard that the accused went on to smash a window at the shop which they used to enter the shop and stole goods worth $ 19 575.
Upon arrest, some goods were recovered including army uniforms. ??33�210
