Highlanders coach Benjani Mwaruwari remains doubtful for Wednesday’s derby against Chicken Inn at Barbourfields Stadium after being hospitalized Sunday.
Mwaruwari was discharged the same day and has since returned to training, although assistants Mkhokheli Dube and Bekithemba Ndlovu have overseen sessions.
Highlanders beat Chicken Inn 3-1 on penalties in Sunday’s Chibuku Super Cup despite players boycotting training over two months of unpaid salaries. The club hopes upcoming home matches will generate funds to help settle the arrears.
