18-year-old man sexually abuses 7-year-old boy
The life of a seven-year-old boy will never be the same again after a Harare man forced himself on him.
Devine Ganje who resides in Waterfalls has been subsequently charged with aggravated indecent assault after he took advantage of a seven-year-old boy.
It is the State’s case that on September 16 2021 around 1500, the complainant went to watch television at the accused person’s house were the accused asked the complainant to accompany him into the bedroom closing the door behind them.
The accused instructed the accused minor to lie on the bed facing downwards and removed his clothes then he forcibly inserted his private part into the boy’s anal and had unprotected annul sex with him without his consent.
Furthermore, the court also heard that after the act the accused assured the minor that he would continue watching television at his place if he did not tell anyone about the incident.
The matter came to light when the mother of the complainant saw blood stain on the child clothes and asked were the blood came from.
He then narrated what had happened and the matter was reported to the police leading to Ganje’s arrest.
