NCL’s ‘Life Centre’ Brings Vitality to the City of Kwekwe

In the heart of Zimbabwe, nestled in the Midlands province, lies the city of Kwekwe, rich in mineral resources. Within this vibrant city, a megachurch is undertaking a monumental project – constructing a 2,400-seater auditorium in the Mbizo suburb.

This project is a testament and fulfilment to the church’s theme for the year 2025: “Absolute Victory.” It is nearing completion, thanks to members of the church, whose hearts were touched and needed to partner with the work of the Lord Almighty. Currently, on the ground, the tireless efforts of the church’s “Men of Integrity” are spearheading the flooring of the already recently insulated and roofed church. These dedicated men are currently working on flooring the massive 2,400-seater auditorium, pouring their sweat and labour into the project. Their selflessness will enable congregants and the community to enjoy the new premises, a symbol of the church’s commitment to growth and service.

A megachurch typically accounts for 1% or more of a city’s population. With this 2,400-seater auditorium, New Creation Life Ministries International (NCL) exceeds this benchmark in Kwekwe, which is a city shy of around 200,000 people in number.

With over 20 branches nationwide and beyond Zimbabwe’s borders, New Creation Life Ministries International continues to experience rapid growth. The ongoing construction of the 2,400-seater auditorium in Kwekwe is a testament to the church’s vision for expansion. Equipped with state-of-the-art sound systems, brand new LED screens, 4K videography and photography equipment, and advanced lighting, this magnificent double-story building will be a hub for worship and community gatherings. Currently, the “Men of Integrity” are working tirelessly on the floor, with completion slated for the Apostolic Night on May 30, 2025, the second major international event for the ministry so far this year. This impressive facility, the first of its kind in Kwekwe, is poised to further propel the church’s growth and influence as the church has its presence in the capital city of Zimbabwe, Harare; Norton, Kadoma, Masvingo, Ngezi, Bulawayo, Maphisa, Johannesburg, to name but a few, and many cell groups nationally and internationally combined.

To truly appreciate the magnitude of this project, one must witness it firsthand. The sheer scale of investment is staggering, with thousands of dollars initially spent on removing rock boulders from the site to make way for the construction of the church. What might have been a significant obstacle for others was merely a stepping stone for Apostle Joy Museba and his vision for NCL. Now, as one approaches the site, they witness a 1080 square metre building at the ground floor, and a top floor of 380 square metres. Let alone the more than ample parking space, and other facilities which shall surround the entire premise!

Church Building Project Manager, Deacon Mazhata, has been instrumental in driving the project forward, working closely with fellow pastors and the Men of Integrity. Two notable individuals shared their thoughts on the ongoing construction of the Life Centre. NCL family pastor, Pastor Bauline, said, “I am excited about the works taking place; the serving that is taking place, seeing the vision of the man of God, seeing it coming true.” He added, “I am seeing a vision of the visionary being fulfilled,” referring to Apostle Joy.

The other gentleman, a senior elder in the church and one of the astute leaders of the Men of Integrity, Mr. Nhemachena, said, “I am happy with the people coming and showing up in their numbers, serving in the house of the Lord. People are coming wholeheartedly to fulfil the vision of the visionary. There is good progress and I am looking forward towards the growth of the church. And in particular, the youth, I am optimistic about the growth as well. He’s seeing this work of the church as an evangelism of God’s work, and also the structure will serve many generations to come. The young will hear of this and the history behind this structure, and will stand to benefit in the future from what is happening and what has happened concerning this building. Furthermore, the structure shows quality. Quality of the visionary and that quality will transfer to communities and they shall stand to benefit both locally and internationally.”

And definitely according to the theme scripture of the church, which is 2nd Corinthians 5 verse 17 (NIV), which reads “Therefore if anyone is in Christ he is a new creation. The old has gone, the new has come.” This verse truly speaks well and boldly of the ‘new creation’ in the Life Centre church which is being built and which seeks to be fully completed in the next few months in time for the Apostolic Summit 2025 Edition. Apostle Joy is a visionary and he is definitely equipping the saints for the work of the ministry with such spiritual foresight and such a majestic auditorium. He is equipping the saints just as Ephesians 4 verse 12 (ESV) states, “Equipping the saints for the work of ministry.” This is what Apostle Joy is doing, and he is leading by example.

New Creation Life Ministries International, has grown significantly, impacting the community through its teachings, healing the sick, delivering the afflicted, and guiding those in need, with many coming back with plenteous testimonies. Among the remarkable miracles, NCL has witnessed healings of pregnant women facing complications, such as breech positions, and a child who was born with both male and female genitalia, whose parents had to decide on which to be made whole, but experienced wholeness. These extraordinary healings and other unusual cycles of favour challenge human logic and reasoning and exemplify the divine power of God at work within NCL.

Founded 14 years ago by NCL President, Founder and Executive Chairman – Apostle Joy Museba, with immense and immeasurable support from his loving wife, Pastor Mary; this incredible church has become a beacon of hope and spiritual growth and can attest to walking in the footsteps of Jesus who was ‘the talk of the town’ according to Luke 4 verse 37 (MSG).
