Former Thomas ‘Mukanya’ Mapfumo’s manager Cuthbert Chiromo is embroiled in a debt wrangle with Diamond Studios founder Steady Munyanyi.
The figure in dispute could not be immediately ascertained.
The two entertainment consultants once lived lavishly but their lifestyles seem to have on a downward spiral as a result of non-viability of the local music industry.
The two had to take the legal route and their matter was heard under case number HC5114/11 where the Master of the High Court ordered the auction of Munyanyi’s office furniture including leather sofas, HP desktop, DSTV and other furniture.
Ruby Auctions was instructed to auction the property.
