Kazembe Kazembe reads riot act….

Mashonaland Central Zanu PF chairperson Kazembe Kazembe yesterday read a riot act and threatened action against party members spreading false information against the First family.

This comes on the backdrop of media reports which suggest that the First Lady Auxilia Mnangagwa barred chief Negomo from attending a closed door meeting when she visited the province.

In an interview with this publication Kazembe said he will not hesitate to take action against party members peddling falsehoods.

“We will be forced to take action against such members. It is a fact that amai comes from this province and she can come home any time,” Kazembe said.

“Amai came for a private visit and she could not address party officials during such a visit. She came to see her people at her rural home, paid a visit to a local clinic as well as an irrigation scheme where she interacted with elderly people who are engaged in projects at the irrigation scheme.”

Kazembe also said party members could not gather because this was a purely private visit

“There was no meeting that took place so noone was barred from meeting and greeting her as some reports suggest.”
