Just in: VP Chiwenga expected back

Vice President Constantino Chiwenga who is currently seeking medication in India has reportedly recovered and is expected back in the country any time this week, the Zim Morning Post has learnt.

Impeccable sources told this publication that contrary to speculative reports that Chiwenga had died, he is, in fact, responding to medication and may fly in today (Friday).
The VP is coming back any time from today. He has dramatically recovered and a plane has been chartered for his safe return. I am not sure whether he will immediately resume his official duties but it’s likely that the medical practitioners attending to him will recommend bed rest,” said the source.
Deputy chief secretary of information in the office of the president who also doubles as Presidential spokesperson George Charamba was evasive when the Zim Morning Post made contact with him Friday morning.

Charamba said the nation will be informed when Chiwenga lands on Zimbabwean soil.
“Well, we will inform you when the Vice President is back in the country but as of now I am not aware of that information that he is coming today,” he said.
Chiwenga was airlifted to India after health complications.
