Chiwanza said the gesture was meant to assist youths who have an entrepreneurial flair and ideas for business start-ups.

“I am very passionate about entrepreneurship, and the funds are meant to assist young upcoming entrepreneurs to pursue and fulfil their dreams.

“I started business as a young boy, and I applaud government policies on youth empowerment.

“The future lies in the youths and my focus area is empowering other young people in the small way that I can.

“During my stint as AAG president, I made sure there was youth participation and empowerment,” Chiwanza said.

Zanu-PF First Secretary and President Emmerson Mnangagwa is the guest of honour.

The convention provides youths with an opportunity to interact with the President and share ideas on how Zimbabwe can be developed.
