Evans Katema in Zambia to tie loose ends

EVANS Katema’s future at Dynamos remains uncertain amid indication that Zambian giants Zanaco FC have moved in to offer him a deal.

Zim Morning Post understands that Katema is in Zambia and could soon be unveiled at the Lusaka based side.

The striker, who spent the second-half of the season at Dynamos after signing from Mushowani Stars, has been a wanted man amid reports that Caps United, Chicken Inn FC and champions FC Platinum were all interested in the striker’s signature.

Katema’s departure to the MTN/FAZ Super Division will be a big blow to club coach Tonderayi Ndiraya’s aspirations as the club is keen to build a strong team that comprises of both young and experienced players

Dynamos are also keen to retain goalkeeper Simbarashe Chinani, whose deal with the club has expired.

Chinani has been linked with a move to South Africa in search of greener pastures.

The Boys in Blue are currently in negotiations with Hwange goalkeeper Taimon Mvula.

Dynamos have secured the services of former Manica Diamonds player Partson Jaure, midfilder Nkosi Mhlanga from Yadah, Tanaka Chidhobha and Lennox Mutsetse.
