Dynamos Football Club will play Karoi United today (Sunday) in a  preparatory match ahead of the 2019 Castle Premier Soccer League.
Dynamos which has made critical changes in their squad from the shameful 2018 Loyd Mutasa side which failed to match the results with the brand Dynamos.
Dynamos which is expecting to fight for the title has acquired the services of Edward Sadomba who has been appointed the team captain. Dynamos also raided ‘the Students’ Herentals FC and grabbed Edgar Mhungu among other new faces.
Speaking to this publication  Tinashe Farawo who is the team spokesperson said that Dynamos has assembled a  strong squad which will challenge for glory.
“We have assembled a strong squad which is going to challenge for everything this season, we are all happy with the job which our Technical department is doing a great job,” Farawo said
Dynamos has failed to secure the services of Archfold Gutu after it has emerged that he wants a one year contract whilst Dynamos is tying players for at least three years.
A source which is close to Gutu confirmed that the player wanted to join his former club but the three-year contract clause was the hindrance.
“Gutu wanted to be with his club but unfortunately the club did not want to give him a one year contract, the club is offering three-year contracts,” said the source which refused to be named.
Dynamos will face Caps United before the league commences and this will see any renewal of rivalry between the two fading Harare giants.
