D-Day for Killer Zivhu as Zanu PF PB meets

ZANU PF Masvingo Province is pushing for the expulsion of Chivi South legislator Killer Zivhu from the Party.

Masvingo Province wrote to the Politburo recommending the expulsion of the Legislator after he called for dialogue between President Emmerson Mnangagwa and MDC President Nelson Chamisa.

The Masvingo Provincial Coordinating Committee (PCC) cited social media abuse charges as the reason why Zivhu should be fired.

“They are accusing Zivhu of abusing social media and this has been leveled as a charge against him and the Politburo will determine his fate today,” said a source.

Zivhu wrote on a micro blogging site Twitter suggesting that First lady Auxilia Mnangagwa and Sithokozile Chamisa should influence their husbands respectively to have a proper dialogue.

However, the Province is deeply divided over Zivhu’s fate with one faction pushing for his expulsion and the other faction fighting from his corner.

“This issue has deeply divided Masvingo Province and it will need to be handled in a proper way as other leaders maybe out of jealousy are fighting Zivhu while others are fighting from his corner,” added our source.

Mnangagwa initiated a dialogue under the banner of Political Actors Dialogue but the Nelson Chamisa led MDC has snubbed the meetings insisting on an impartial mediator with an African Union and United Nations mandate.
