Controversial street preacher, Apostle Chiwenga has been involved in a fatal accident which has claimed the lives of three passengers, Zim Morning post has heard.
The controversial street preacher is said to have lost control of his Mitsubish Shogun Pajero 51km from Masvingo.
Eye witnesses told this publication that two women passengers died on the spot while the third one, a woman died upon admission at Masvingo General Hospital.
“Chiwenga was driving when he lost control about 51km from Masvingo, just after Chatsworth,” said an eye witness who arrived at the scene a few minutes after the accident occurred.
“The vehicle veered off the road and ploughed into the field, about 70m from the main road, hit a metal pole and rolled twice.”
“It then landed on its roof throwing two women outside the vehicle.”
“Chiwenga was critically injured and is currently admitted at Makurira Private Hospital,” the eye witness said.
The names of the deceased are Rosemary Vhurumuku (51), Rejoice Jerina Chiwenga (28) and Eugene Tafadzwa Kanyuchi (34).
