A predator from Chipinge has been arrested and convicted for molesting his chicken supplier.
Predator Manipulates Supplier into Delivering Chickens to Unfamiliar Location
According to reports, the 51-year-old perpetrator, accompanied by an associate, visited Gabaza Rank on May 21, 2024, seeking chickens from a 34-year-old woman. Subsequently, he collected his chickens but enticed the woman to accompany them to a nearby house under false pretenses of delivering more chicken.

Predator’s Violent Assault on Supplier in Deceptive Encounter
Upon arrival, the unidentified person did not enter, continuing his journey, while the woman and the predator entered the house. Inside, the predator professed love to the woman. Despite her rejection, he reacted violently, knocking her to the ground and forcibly removing her clothes before molesting her. The assault continued until a knock on the door interrupted him.

Woman Escapes Predator’s Clutches and Alerts Authorities
The woman seized the opportunity to escape and promptly reported the incident to the police. Subsequently, after an investigation, the predator was apprehended on May 28, 2024.

Guilty Verdict in Chipinge Magistrate Court
Facing the Chipinge Magistrate Court, the predator stood accused of rape. The court found him guilty, leading to a 15-year prison sentence, with two years suspended. The NPAZ press statement confirmed the verdict, specifying that the accused individual was sentenced to 15 years in prison, with 2 years suspended, effectively serving 13 years.
Granny Brutally Assaulted
In another story, a 29-year-old man allegedly subjected a 92-year-old granny to multiple rapes, almost rendering her unconscious. The assault reportedly occurred throughout the night, from 10 p.m. until 4 a.m. the following day. The assailant fled the scene, leaving behind his underwear after the granny, whose identity remains undisclosed for legal reasons, pleaded for mercy due to sheer exhaustion.
