Chartgrove Junior in Mabelreign gears up for 2020

CHARTGROVE Primary School on Friday took its seventh edition of the Early Childhood Development (ECD) graduation to another level, with students performing military imitation acts at Mabelreign Shopping Centre in Harare.

This year’s graduation ceremony comprised of speech and prize giving events.

Although this is Chartgrove’s seventh year of existence, the junior school still has a low-student-to-teacher ratio.

Chartgrove is a private institution which opened its doors as a nursery school in 2012, later becoming a junior school in 2016 after the principal, Canny Mapfumo and headmistress Angela Magodoro, took a decision to upgrade it.

Presently, the school accommodates pupils from infant level to grade four.

The Mabelreign-based junior school is located in an English-speaking environment and also offers computer lessons, e-learning, international exchange programmes, arts with Chipawo, gymnastics, swimming and tennis.

The institution is presently in the process of enrolling for the 2020 school calendar year.
