Chamisa salutes Mnangagwa’s gesture

MDC Alliance  leader Nelson Chamisa has  deviated from his traditional stance of   lambasting President Emmerson Mnangagwa at any podium when he showered praises   on him during the memorial service of the late party president Morgan Richard Tsvangirai held at Humanikwa Village in Buhera over the weekend.   Chamisa praised Mnangagwa for providing assistance on the memorial of the late former Prime Minister who died on February 14 2018.

Speaking at the memorial service, Chamisa said   people should appreciate good deeds and condemn bad things. “I heard you crying   foul when the name government was mentioned , Mnangagwa (Emmerson) is my   political opponent we contest each other, we differ on so many things but allow me to appreciate the presence of the police who are here to do their   duty in peace, this must be acknowledged, we should appreciate good deeds and condemn bad things,” said Chamisa.

ZANU PF Youth league member Justice Matsatsira said  Chamisa was now seeing the light and his sentiments  are testimony that he appreciates the work done by Mnangagwa. “It is good that Chamisa (Nelson) is now   seeing the light, Deep down his heart ,Chamisa loves our President. “If you remember well, he used to defend him   when he was being attacked by Grace Mugabe because he knows that our President always stand for the right things and he cannot afford not to appreciate good deeds,” said Matsatsira.

The government assisted with different resources   and food to feed at least 5 000 people who gathered in Humanikwa   village which is located 250 km from Harare. Many took to the podium to praise and celebrate   the life of Tsvangirai whom they described as a selfless man who sacrificed his life for the people of Zimbabwe.
