CELEBRATED Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates fan Lady D is set to arrive in the country today to rally behind the Warriors against the Zebras of Botswana, Zim Morning Post has learnt.
Her visit is on the invitation of the heroic Warrriors fan Alvin Aluvha Zhakata, who is famed for travelling to Cairo by road.
Zim Morning Post Sports spoke to Aluvah on Thursday, and he said that Lady D’s visit is about strengthening relations between Zimbabwe and South Africa football fans.
“Lady D will be with us as we rally behind the Warriors, this move is aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between our country and South Africa,” said Aluvah.
Aluvah showered praises to the Zimbabwe Football Association for helping to facilitate the Lady D’s trip.
” I want to thank ZIFA for being instrumental in facilitating Lady D’s trip to come and cheer our boys, ” added Aluva
Aluva is a loyal fan of the Warriors and in July ahead of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, he travelled to Cairo from Cape Town together with Botha who later abandoned the trip due to the challenges they faced.
Zimbabwe is set to lock horns with Botswana on Friday evening and Lady D is expected to travel back to South Africa to watch Bafana Bafana take on Sudan.
