THE October 25 government-sponsored anti-sanctions demo against the United States and European Union is now set for the battle of the titans after the Nelson Chamisa- led MDC has threatened to infiltrate it, Zim Morning Post can reveal.

In an unsigned social media message gone viral, a group of people claiming to be representing the MDC is encouraging MDC sympathisers to infiltrate the anti-sanctions gathering with their own placards denouncing what they say is the Government of Zimbabwe’s undemocratic inclinations.

“Let’s have our own placards to denounce human rights violations, elections rigging, corruption and incompetence by Zanu PF leaders.”
Zim Morning Post has it on good authority that Zimbabwe’s main opposition party has had its application to stage its own demonstration against Zanu PF and government incompetence turned down.
The MDC accuses Zanu PF of bad governance, rigging of elections, human rights violations, corruption and a host of other vices.
“Let’s use their platform to tell the world real problems in our country,” reads the communique in part.
In the same social media communique, the MDC seems to draw solace from the fact that the country’s security system may be forced into not using some of repressive State apparatuses to stop opposition infiltration as that would also cause harm on government supporters.
