THE remains of the late former President Robert Mugabe arrived at the Robert Mugabe International Airport this afternoon and received by high powered delegation of government officials and cross section of Zimbabweans at large.
Addressing mourners at the airport, President Emmerson Mnangagwa said Mugabe’s remains will be taken to One Commando Barracks where the Zimbabwe Defense Forces (ZDF) will give prayers and last respect.
From One Commando, his lifeless body will be taken to his residence at the Blue Roof in Borrowdale.
The coffin was led by service chiefs including ZDF Chaplin General Joseph Nyakudya.
The Ministry of Home Affairs will be announcing further arrangements in due course.
