Tongai Muzenda, the 57-year old general manager of the Minerals Marketing Corporation of Zimbabwe, has died in a car accident.
He died after his car hit an electricity pole in Borrowdale at around 10pm yesterday. Muzenda’s tragic death occurred on the spot.
A prince of a political dynasty, Muzenda was the son to former Zimbabwean Vice President, Simon Muzenda. He was also Gutu West legislator for five years and was Deputy Minister of Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare between 2013 and 2014.
