The High Court on Friday dismissed the urgent chamber application by the MDC to lift the police ban on the planned protests.
Soon after the ruling MDC secretary general Charlton Hwende said the party will roll out protests in other towns and cities as planned.
“We are going to roll out protests in other towns considering the fact that the high court has banned the Harare one,” said Hwende.
“Today there is nothing we can do due to heavy police presence and we cannot go against the ruling of the high court because this may result in violence,” he said.
