Sungura musician and Ngwenya Brothers frontman Tedious Matsito has died, Zim Morning Post has learnt.
He died on Thursday morning at Parirenyatwa Group of Hospital after a long illness.
The Manyemwe Emhuru hitmaker suffered a stroke in December 2016 and has been in and out of hospital since then with his wife Patience been on record complaining for lack of adequate healthcare for her husband’s condition.
A close family member has confirmed his death but could not give finer details of the circumstances surrounding the veteran musician’s demise.
He is survived by his wife Patience and six children.
Funeral arrangements are yet to be announced but indications are that mourners will be gathered at his Kuwadzana 5 home on Harare.
