ZIMBABWE senior national soccer team captain Knowledge Musona who is based in Belgium has dismissed local media reports about his fitness levels ahead of the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers against Somalia. Musona made it crystal clear that he is fit and ready to go and categorically stated that he will not be operated on as reported in some sections of the media.

ZIMBABWE senior national soccer team captain Knowledge Musona who is based in Belgium has dismissed local media reports about   his fitness levels ahead of the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers against Somalia. Musona made it crystal clear that he is fit and ready to go and categorically stated that he will not be operated on as reported in some sections of the media.

“I am not having ankle problems and not having any operation, please get your facts right and stop writing false articles about me,” said Musona in reference to report from a local publication.

Zim Morning Sports understands that most of the selected players  are struggling to get game time and Musona ‘s presence will be a major boost were going to miss the match against Somalia.

Tendayi Darikwa and Marshall Munetsi were ruled out through injuries.
